If you’re still blaming everything and everyone else, you need to accept responsibility. Why is this so important? Because you have to accept responsibility in order to be in control and change things.

It’s not your ability; it’s your availability God is interested in. God is looking for someone who will make Him first in their life. Your response to the Lord right now ought to be, “Look no further! Here I am! I’m turning my life over to You with my whole heart.” If you genuinely do that, you will be promoted.

You have to look at God’s Word and THEN evaluate your enemy, circumstances, and problems based on what the Word says about them. David’s confidence came from the fact that he had a covenant with God. He had COVENANT VISION.

Text: 1 Samuel 17:51

David didn’t stop once Goliath was down. He got on top of him, took his own sword out, cut off his head, and then held it up for everyone to see. You need to get to the place David was. His dreams began to come to pass because he didn’t quit. If you will stand your ground and encourage yourself in the Lord, you’ll become a victor like David.

Text: 2 Samuel 15:25-26

David had a purpose that was bigger than himself. Although he was king, he did not view the position as an opportunity to boost his ego or benefit him. David was king to serve the Lord and the nation of Israel.
